My designs are very special to me. I begin with beautiful fabric, an idea in my head, and a particular doll in mind. When I start I do not know exactly what will emerge. Sometimes I end up with something beautiful or sharp, but not exactly what I had initially planned. This is because the design just went in that direction. I have endless design possibilities in my head that make my work really "play." Part of design process includes making the first perfect costumes that will copied, as well as the pattern.
